I then tried to find the .jar download for minecraft but when i go to their site it says “minecraft doesn’t run on a chromebook” and under the linux download options there is no .jar. any help would be appreciated, this is day 2 of trying.. The closest you can get to minecraft on the chromebook is a web based classic version that looks horrible. this is your only option as no other downloads websites have programs that will run on your chromebook..
